Wow, over five-hundred days of comic strips so far...
I was just thinking about Inner Child last night. Not so much in terms of ideas but simply laying in bed trying to sleep and reflecting on what I have done. . Creatively, I have learned quite a bit and the people that like it truly like it. That is a win in my book. Looking back at the first strips and comparing them to now is an eye opener. I can only wonder what the strip will look like next year, God willing I can keep it going. If you have been reading it this long you have my heart felt thank you.
My favorite part about this whole thing is that I have been told at least four times that my stuff is safe and parents like sharing the strips with their kids. That was the endgame in all of this. The older sharing something entertaining with the younger.
Entertainment that works for anyone. No cutting people out, not intentionally at any rate. I am not talking about a political "everyone MUST be included" either, no. The goal dear readers was something that just naturally was okay for anyone. Young and old and it doesn't matter what you look like, the joke is left there for anyone that discovers it. I am simply writing what I know.
One day, my next destination will be children's books but for now I am happy playing in the comic strip world with all of you looking in. With a technical three books published (a forth on the way), I still have a lot of work to do.
If you are looking for my books, you can find them on Amazon.com.
